Is my kitchen too small?

No kitchen is really too small and our chefs can always adapt. As long as you have a fully functioning stove, refrigerator, cutlery and plates it should be fine.


How much does it cost?

This will depend entirely on which class you opt in for. Costs vary depending on the type of food and menu, complexity of the food preparation and number of people. Please find more detailed information on pricing on the Class page.


I can’t find a class I like, what should I do?

We want to make sure you find the perfect class for you, so if you can’t find the one you would like listed on the Classes page, simply drop us an email at requesting what chef you would like, what dishes you would like to learn, where you would like to have the class, and for how many people, and we will do what we can to set it up for you!


My friends and I are going to a group class - Can we split the bill?

Of course! Either get all of your friends to book individual places on one of our classes or group class, or set up your own event, have one person pay on behalf of everyone and then settle the split outside the system. Feel free to contact us if you need further support.


How much notice do I need to book a chef for a class?

We will do our best to accommodate all inquiry requests up to the same day as the event. Naturally, the sooner the better so it will give chefs enough time to source ingredients, prepare the food (if needed) and properly plan for the event.


What sort of guaranty does InspiringChefs offer?

We handpick the “crème de la crème” of chefs to ensure a delightful and tasty food experience. Every chef is personally vetted for personality, background, and their food is tasted. If you have any dietary concerns or allergies, please mention them beforehand.


What are your service areas?

We currently only operate within the Greater London area and Brighton. We are looking to expand into further cities very soon and we are already enrolling chefs in other cities of the UK as well as the rest of Europe. If you would like us to operate in your area, register your interest here and we will let you know when we are in your neighbourhood. What if I haven’t heard from a chef?

No worries – email us right away and we will sort it out immediately. Final payment is made upon confirmation of the booking requirements and chef’s availability.


What if we have dietary restrictions?

Just advise your chef of any restrictions you might have and he/she will accommodate. Not to worry.


What if my group would all like to learn different dishes?

This is entirely dependent on your chef of choice, but get in touch and we will suggest a number of options for you to choose from. 


What’s your cancellation policy?

We hope you don’t cancel on us! But, if you do, if you cancel within 72 hours of your booked class there will be a 100% cancellation penalty. Similarly, if you have reduced your headcount with 72 hours of your booked event, there will be a 100% cancellation penalty on the additional guests.

If you cancel more than a week before the class, you will receive a full refund. For bookings made within one week of your class but more than 72 hours before, you will forfeit your deposit, if requested by InspiringChefs, 48 hours after your deposit is made. (Note: deposits will typically only be requested in the event of booking a large event with at least 8 guests.)
